GUSA champions student sport - empowering participation, enhancing wellbeing, and advocating for a healthier, more connected #TeamUofG. Join us and make an impact!

  • The Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA) is the oldest student body on campus, founded in 1881. With a rich history of fostering student sport, GUSA provides opportunities for all students to get involved - whether through club sports, recreational leagues, fitness classes, specialist courses, or drop-in sessions. We’re committed to making sport accessible to everyone, helping to create a healthier, more well-rounded university experience.

Engaging in sport is more than just exercise - it’s a way to meet new people, build lasting routines, and improve physical, mental, and social wellbeing. With over 50 clubs catering to all abilities, there truly is something for everyone.

Many of our alumni say their most cherished university memories were made on the pitch, the court, the bus rides, and within their sports clubs. Help us ensure these opportunities continue for future generations of TeamUofG - let’s keep UofG Sport thriving together.
