Sanctuary Scholarship

As a University of Sanctuary, Glasgow is committed to supporting people who have experienced forced migration.

Imagine having to flee your home country, leaving behind everything and everyone you know, just to escape persecution, war, or violence. This is the reality for millions of people around the world who have experienced forced migration.

But for some, there is hope. The University of Glasgow is committed to providing targeted support to refugees in the form of 20 Sanctuary Scholarships each year. These Scholarships will cover the student's tuition fees for the duration of their programme, a £5,000 per year stipend to assist with study, and accommodation if eligible. However, demand far exceeds the number of scholarships available, and your support is vital in helping give hope to the forced migrants who are seeking to meet their educational dreams at the University of Glasgow.

Your support of Sanctuary Scholarships will meet tuition fees, accommodation, and study costs. It will change the course of a refugee's life, providing them with the opportunity to build a brighter future and contribute to our global community.

Join us in creating a more inclusive and welcoming community - support today.
